Engineering Recruiter/ Staffing Specialist

Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX (Hybrid: Tuesday-Thursday onsite). Contract opportunity- growth available. Must be able to work for any employer in the US immediately.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring for Global Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring managers, and delivering a positive candidate experience from intake through offer acceptance.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience managing requisitions independently and partnering directly with hiring managers.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume recruiting environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in staffing agency recruiting and/or high-volume recruiting.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent additional relevant experience).
• Experience using Workday.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Automotive industry recruiting experience. Engineering is ideal but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and conduct intake meetings.
• Post and manage job requisitions. Average 20-30 at a time.
• Source, review, and screen candidates. Screening 4-5 candidate per day.
• Conduct phone interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate and manage the interview process with recruiting coordinators.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Facilitate offer discussions and support salary negotiations.
• Utilize recruiting tools and technologies, including AI-enabled interview platforms.
