Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. This position is responsible for unloading trucks, receiving inbound materials and supplies, inspecting shipments for accuracy and damage, and ensuring products are properly staged and stored. The Receiving Clerk plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency while helping the company meet client commitments and deadlines.
The Receiving Clerk reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and works closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and account teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of all incoming goods.

- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Essential Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and receive inbound merchandise and materials.
- Verify received products against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Inspect cartons, pallets, and containers for damage or discrepancies.
- Ensure all inbound shipments comply with Quality Assurance procedures.
- Move materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations.
- Sort and organize inventory by SKU and warehouse location.
- Label and mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
- Communicate shipment discrepancies or issues to management and Account Executives.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Perform basic facility maintenance duties as needed.
- Support additional warehouse and operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to stage and organize incoming product efficiently.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime when needed.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Physical Demands
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the workday.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use hands and arms for reaching, handling, lifting, and inspecting materials.
- Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios, and decimals.
