Construction Scheduler - South Florida
A Top ENR-Ranked General Contractor is actively looking to add a Construction Planner to support large-scale commercial projects across South Florida. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing builder with a strong backlog across sectors, including hospitality, aviation, healthcare, mixed-use, education, and large commercial developments.
The role will work closely with Operations and Project Leadership teams, taking ownership of project scheduling from preconstruction through project delivery. This is a highly visible position offering long-term growth, exposure to complex projects, and the chance to play a key role in major builds across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Build baseline schedules covering all phases from preconstruction through turnover.
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and delays.
- Update schedules based on site progress and project changes.
- Develop recovery schedules and support Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Owners, and Subcontractors.
- Support logistics planning, sequencing, and construction means & methods.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, executive reports, dashboards, and schedule narratives.
- Participate in owner meetings and provide scheduling updates to leadership teams.
- Assist with dispute resolution and schedule-related claims documentation.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in Construction Scheduling or Project Controls.
- Strong experience using Primavera P6.
- Background working on commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, sequencing, and construction operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale or complex construction projects preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
- Experience with Power BI, BIM, Synchro, Navisworks, or Revit is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with field and leadership teams.
