The CFO will play a critical role in scaling the company, ensuring financial stability, supporting executive decision-making, and optimizing financial performance. This is a key leadership role, partnering closely with the CEO and COO, while leading all finance functions and helping drive the company’s continued success.
CFO Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial leadership
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals and growth plans
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making, project bidding, and capital investments.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
- Advise the CEO and COO on financial planning, risk, and opportunities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, job costing, and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Improve internal controls, financial systems, and policies to support scaling operations.

CFO Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, in construction
- Deep understanding of construction accounting, WIP schedules, job costing, bonding, and project finance.
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
