Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development
Job Duties:
- Lead civil engineering design efforts using Civil 3D for land development and residential projects
- Manage projects from initial concept through construction completion
- Oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting processes
- Review conceptual plans and provide innovative engineering solutions for complex projects
- Prepare and assist with proposals, project scopes, and business development efforts
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor and provide guidance to Jr. Engineers and Designers
- Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are maintained
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support throughout all project phases
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required
- 7 years of civil engineering experience required
- Strong background in land development and residential site design projects
- Advanced proficiency with Civil 3D
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead design teams
- Strong knowledge of permitting and municipal approval processes
- Excellent technical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Established client and municipality relationships preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions and project coordination
Salary : $85,000 - $117,000
