Mechanical Engineer (EIT)
Location: Dallas, TX
Position Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) with 2–5 years of experience to support the design and execution of mechanical systems for a variety of building projects. This role will work under the supervision of senior engineers while contributing to project delivery from design through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial and/or residential projects
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
- Support production of construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
- Assist with site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities
- Perform basic load calculations and system sizing under supervision
- Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and project documentation
- Communicate with project teams to support schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design (MEP preferred)
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical codes (ASHRAE, IMC, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
