What are the responsibilities and job description for the Converting Set-up Operator position at Future Polytech?
General Position Scope:
This position is responsible for set up and operating Converting machines and associated equipment to safely produce high-quality converting products/bags.
Position will include competitive salary, bonus opportunities, full benefits package, and 401k.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and run production machines
- Follow simple work instructions, job requirements of product BOM
- Put materials into machines
- Take finished products off machines
- Measure products with a tape measure
- Check that products look correct
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow the chain of commands to communicate all concerns (safety, quality, production and HR issues) immediately and effectively.
- Participate in department activities to continually improve safety, product quality, cost, and delivery.
- Submit ideas for continuous improvement for safety, product quality, work area improvements, cost, and delivery.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting/Carrying (minimum of 50 lbs.)
- Standing/Walking for long periods (up to 12 hours)
