JOB TITLE: HR & Payroll Administrator
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: This role is primarily responsible for payroll administration and benefits coordination, while also supporting broader HR operations across all locations. Responsibilities include processing payroll for 100 employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN), administering employee benefits, coordinating new hire orientation, managing travel logistics, supporting HR audits, and serving as a key resource for day-to-day HR operations and employee engagement.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:
Essential
- Process full-cycle payroll for 100 employees using ADP Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accuracy and timely processing across all pay periods, entities, and locations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, payroll regulations, and internal policies
- Manage labor edits and timecard corrections in ADP WFN; review and reconcile hours prior to payroll submission
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrolling employees, conducting new hire benefits orientation, and processing qualifying life event changes
- Perform benefits balance reconciliations; audit carrier invoices against enrollment records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits; research and resolve questions accurately and in a timely manner, escalating to HR leadership as appropriate
- Conduct new hire orientation, ensuring a consistent and welcoming onboarding experience at all locations
- Complete Form I-9 verifications and E-Verify verifications
- Book and coordinate business travel arrangements for employees and management, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
- Maintain accurate and organized HR files (physical and digital), ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements and company policy
- Support internal and external HR audits; prepare documentation, gather data, and assist with audit responses as directed
- Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly employee engagement events; manage logistics, communications, and vendor coordination
- Support ISO 9001 compliance by maintaining accurate HR records and participating in audits as required
- Participate actively and positively in Lean activities

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Essential
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- 3 years of payroll processing experience for 100 employees; multi-location experience preferred
- Experience administering employee benefits, including enrollment, carrier reconciliation, and orientation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and reports
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations
- Ability to work extended hours during payroll cycles, audits, or peak business periods as needed
Beneficial
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification
- Prior HR experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment
- Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state employment regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Sit 75%, Stand 10%, Walk 10%, and Bend 5%. Maximum (minutes): Sit 240, Stand 15, Walk 10, and Bend 5. Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and normal hearing (with or without hearing aid enhancement).
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Primary office environment with occasional visits to the plant floor. Moderate noise level when in production areas.
This position will require drug testing per company policy.
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
