Robot Maintenance Lead
We are seeking an experienced Robot Maintenance Lead to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining robotic equipment, supporting automation improvements, and leading robotic maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed on robotic equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair robotic systems
- Support and guide Robot Technicians during repairs and maintenance activities
- Collect and enter maintenance data into the work order system
- Implement continuous improvement projects related to robotic automation
- Coordinate with vendors to order replacement parts
- Oversee end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) design, build, and implementation
- Support new robotic installations and production startups
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience programming and repairing industrial robots
- Experience with Sepro and/or Sytrama injection molding robots required
- Experience with Fanuc robots preferred
- Ability to design and build end-of-arm tooling
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead maintenance projects
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the workday
- Comfortable working at heights using a manlift
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
