Senior Property Accounting Manager – Dallas, TX
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead property accounting operations within a growing retail property management firm. This leadership role oversees Property Accounting Managers, ensuring accurate financial reporting, rent processing, payables, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing monthly reports, bank reconciliations, and financial analyses; managing NNN and CAM reconciliations; supporting tenant accounting matters; and aligning accounting processes with property management operations. The role also involves budgeting, audit coordination, process improvements, and mentoring team members.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–3 years of property management accounting experience, preferably in retail or shopping centers. Strong expertise in NNN/CAM reconciliations, Excel, and Microsoft 365 is required. Experience with systems like DoorLoop or MRI is preferred. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately. A Texas Real Estate License is a plus.
