Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy modalities, and behavioral interventions aligned with best practices.
- Prescribe and monitor medications such as psychotropic agents, including botulinum toxin treatment when appropriate for co-morbid conditions.
- Provide telehealth on occasion to expand access to mental health services across various settings, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and community resources.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within EMR system eClinicalWorks, ensuring adherence to NCQA standards and hospital protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment within inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication administration and management for complex psychiatric disorders.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR system eClinical Works for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
- Experience working with geriatric individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
