Responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices and assist with preparing payments.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Generate and send customer invoices and apply customer payments.
• Assist with reconciliations and the monthly close process.
• Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts as needed.
• Prepare and organize accounting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform general office duties, including filing, mail runs, and supply management.
• Provide accounting support to other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Coursework in Accounting (minimum 12 hours); Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of accounting or office experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel skills preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Typing and 10-key proficiency.

Salary range for the Accounts Payable Specialist is based on experience.
