Responsibilities
- Enter and process journal entries accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balances as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support financial reporting by preparing and organizing documentation.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely and accurate accounting operations.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience or equivalent training.
- Experience with Sage Contractor 100 or a comparable full-feature accounting system.
- Strong understanding of journal entries and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related software.
