Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks with precision, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and service
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities by recommending specials or pairing suggestions
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently upheld during food handling, serving, and cleanup processes
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
