Catholic Charities of Fulton & Montgomery Counties is seeking a Full-time Residence Counselor for its 24/7 supervised housing community.
This position includes days, nights, weekend and overnight opportunities.
Our housing communities serve individuals who are diagnosed with mental illnesses and/or might be substance users to transition to independent housing through skill development to succeed on their own.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping the vulnerable and underserved populations in the greater Fulton-Montgomery community and can work up to 30 hours per week on days and times of their choosing.
Are you interested?
You'll have to pass a background check, have a valid Driver's License, possess at least a High School Diploma or GED, have some basic computer skills, and have some education or experience working in human services.
This position will be meaningful to the right person as the job duties focus on helping residents progress toward independent living and providing supportive engagement regarding their goals and/or recovery. If you have good communication skills and an ability to empathize, these traits will help you succeed in this role.
