Residence Counselor - Full Time

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Residence Counselor to join our Fulton & Montgomery team. In this role, you will support residents in developing the skills needed to live independently and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs)
• Provide approved Medicaid billable services, including:
  • Assertiveness and self-advocacy
  • Community integration
  • Daily living skills training
  • Health services and medication management
  • Parenting training
  • Rehabilitation counseling and skill development
  • Socialization and symptom management
  • Substance use support
• Teach and support independent living skills, such as:
  • Nutrition, meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation/storage
  • Basic housekeeping
  • Personal hygiene
  • Money management
• Encourage positive social interaction and participation in recreational and leisure activities

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Availability: On-call availability required

Qualifications:

•  High School Diploma or GED
•  Valid NYS drivers license
•  First Aid/CPR certified (preferred)
