Order Puller / Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Chino, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Overtime: Required as needed
Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Puller to join our team in Chino, CA. As an Order Puller, you are the backbone of our warehouse operations—responsible for locating, picking, and preparing customer orders with speed and precision so shipments go out on time.
This is a Temp-to-Hire position ideal for dependable workers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy active, hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Picking: Accurately locate, select, and pull products from warehouse shelves, racks, or bins according to pick tickets and digital orders.
- RF Scanner Operation: Use an RF (Radio Frequency) scanner to track inventory, scan items, update order statuses, and ensure 100% picking accuracy.
- Material Handling & Heavy Lifting: Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items or bulk packages throughout the warehouse shift.
- Staging & Packaging: Palletize, wrap, label, and move completed orders to the designated staging area for final inspection and shipping.
- Quality Control: Inspect products during picking to ensure items are undamaged and meet quality standards.
- Warehouse Safety: Keep aisles clean and organized while following all company safety guidelines and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required PPE: Steel-toe boots are strictly required on your first day.
- Equipment Experience: Experience using an RF scanner for order picking and inventory tracking.
- Physical Demands: Heavy lifting required. Must be able to continuously lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs, as well as stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of an 8 hour shift.
- Schedule & Overtime: Must be available to work the 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM shift and stay for mandatory overtime when needed.
- Attention to Detail: Able to read pick sheets, match SKU numbers accurately, and work at a steady pace under minimal supervision.
