We are currently seeking a detail-oriented *seasonal* Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sanger, CA. This position plays a vital role in supporting payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Position Overview:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager with day-to-day payroll tasks, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely processing of payroll for multiple sites.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasional overtime
Pay Rate: $19.00/HR

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and review weekly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
- Approve Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies.
- Generate weekly and monthly payroll cost reports for accounting.
- Review and validate federal and multi-state tax filings.
- Assist with payroll issue resolution and support distribution center payroll teams.
- Serve as a backup for the Admin Payroll Administrator as needed.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email inquiries.
- Understanding of payroll processing systems; knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
- Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
Work Environment:
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend availability may be required
