Job Title: Quality Control (Production Operator)
Pay Rate: $17/hr.
Shift: 1st/2nd

Position Summary
We are seeking four highly attentive and safety-conscious Quality Checkers to join our production team one per shift. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting frequent quality inspections on ice cream pints to ensure they meet Dreyer’s product quality standards. This includes evaluating product appearance, texture, and other quality attributes, as well as using knives to cut pints for inspection.
This is a physically active position requiring extensive walking across the factory floor to perform a full walk every 15 minutes.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct quality checks on ice cream pints according to Dreyer’s established quality standards.
● Use knives safely and effectively to cut pints for inspection.
● Record and report quality findings promptly to the QA Supervisor.
● Perform a complete walk-through of the production floor every 15 minutes to monitor product quality and compliance.
● Ensure adherence to food safety and workplace safety protocols.
● Communicate any issues or deviations from standards immediately for corrective action.
Qualifications:
Experience: Prior quality control or food production experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
○ Ability to walk extensively throughout the shift.
○ Comfortable working in a production facility environment.
○ Ability to handle knives safely.
Skills:
○ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
○ Ability to follow established processes and safety protocols.
○ Clear communication skills for reporting to QA Supervisors.
