What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Fullmer Construction?
• Tilt up Estimating Experience (Preferred)
• Review complete set of plans and determine required sub participation.
• Solicit bids through the Fullmer Bidding software.
• Review plans and determine scope of work for each trade.
• Review sub bids for conformance to plans and scope.
• Verify sub bids pricing is relative to recent historical costs.
• Populate bid leveling sheets and select lowest qualified bidders for each trade.
• Provide list of inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications as a contract document.
• Incorporate scope impacts related to the soil's reports, conditions of approval, specifications and other project documented information.
• Prepare awarded subcontractor proposals for contract.
• Meet with superintendent and project manager to review awarded project and turn over all pertinent information.
• Meet with owners to discuss the details of bid projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners and subcontractors.
• Seamlessly integrate into a positive o2ice environment.
• Ability to visit job sites.
• Polished communication skills.
• Incorporate AI tools into workflow.
• Meet deadlines.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project.
Salary : $87,000 - $120,000
