We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team! Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, including front desk management, multi-line phone systems, and calendar scheduling to ensure seamless workflow.
- Manage vendor relationships by coordinating procurement, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies and services.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software, including invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage payroll processing and human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Coordinate event planning for meetings, company functions, or community outreach initiatives to promote engagement and team building.
- Maintain organized filing systems—both electronic and physical—and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and preparing financial summaries for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable bookkeeping software is essential.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette are required for interacting professionally with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Strong schedule management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices and human resources procedures.
- Experience with event planning, calendar management, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable.
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
