FLSmidth Cement USA, Inc., seeks Field Engineer in Allentown, PA
Job Duties: Review and advise on construction/maintenance projects valued up to multi-million dollars. Provide complete process/operating guidance for most FLSmidth product lines. Provide complete installation/diagnostic services for most FLSmidth product lines; establish action plans and priorities to support successful project/program completion, provide mature in-depth analysis of problems, and develop realistic solutions and ensure that onsite personnel compete assignments as scheduled/on time; exhibit sound advisory and consulting skills at job sites to ensure that FLSmidth's objectives are met while maintaining product/project profitability; oversee the execution of work on site, directing FLSmidth staff as needed and ensuring work on site is performed to FLSmidth specifications; provide senior level installation/aftermarket service for either electrical related, maintenance or process areas to ensure 100% customer satisfaction in all areas related to plant/mine; deliver technical and/or troubleshooting advice consistent with the expectations of the customer; influence and direct various site personnel without actual managerial authority in increasingly difficult or technically challenging situations; and deliver technical expertise, represent FLSmidth as a subject matter expert, and be skilled and knowledgeable about FLSmidth products and processes in such a manner that the client respects his knowledge and advice. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S. Up to 80% domestic and international travel required, with trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field plus 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:
- Experience in programming of industrial control systems including FLSmidth Cement ECS V7 or higher, FLSmidth Acesys V7 and V8, Siemens Step 7, and Rockwell Control Logix (3 years)
- Experience in industrial instrumentation including 4-20 mA and Field bus instrumentation including Siemens PA or Device Net (3 years)
- Experience in minerals processing, construction/maintenance (3 years)
