We're seeking a dedicated Insurance Verification Specialist to join Full Smile Dental at the Colonies! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency behind the scenes.
As a vital part of our administrative team, the Insurance Verification Specialist plays a key role in supporting both patients and clinical staff by ensuring insurance information is accurate, verified, and clearly communicated. Responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient insurance coverage via phone and online portals
- Reviewing benefits, eligibility, and coverage details prior to patient appointments
- Identifying and resolving insurance discrepancies or coverage issues proactively
- Accurately entering and updating patient insurance and benefit information in practice management software
- Communicating coverage details clearly with patients and internal team members
- Maintaining compliance with payer requirements and internal procedures
Your work helps remove barriers to care by ensuring patients understand their benefits and experience a seamless visit from start to finish.
Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00AM - 5:00PM
(Friday schedules vary according to patient schedule)
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous dental or healthcare experience is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with patients and families
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
