Duties
- Supervise daily store operations including fuel sales, retail merchandise, and customer service to ensure efficiency and high standards.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability.
- Lead hiring processes by interviewing candidates, conducting employee orientation, and onboarding new team members.
- Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Train and develop staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Implement merchandising plans and promotional activities to boost retail sales and enhance store presentation.
- Maintain safety standards, manage shift schedules, handle customer inquiries professionally, and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or convenience store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong background in retail sales management including inventory management, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
- Demonstrated skills in employee recruitment, training & development, team leadership, and managerial communication.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping practices, and basic math skills for daily operations.
- Experience with budgeting, operational management, purchasing decisions, and inventory control is highly desirable.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Prior experience in gasoline station operations or grocery store management is advantageous but not mandatory.
