Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Analyst supports the planning, organization, and control of Supply Chain operations—including Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, Packaging/Warehousing, and Materials Controls. This role focuses on optimizing the use of equipment, materials, and manpower to deliver premium customer service.
This position will involve a varying level of project work and participation in cross-functional teams within the plant and broader organization to improve performance in areas such as manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations, and customer service.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Apply strong system skills, analytical abilities, and business knowledge to evaluate the effectiveness of manufacturing and supply chain operations, communicate conclusions, and drive improvements.
- Determine the scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead projects as necessary.
- Participate in new system implementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain department.
- Support packaging and warehouse activities, including process improvements in shipping and receiving, optimizing warehouse storage, and improving packaging efficiencies.
- Create, modify, and maintain business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional groups.
- Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of functions and systems.
- Ensure work is performed safely and maintain a safe work environment. Take responsibility for personal and team safety by following safe work practices and reporting any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
Required Skills
- Proven analytical and project management abilities

- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.) and levels of the organization

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Access)
- Flexibility to work 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM as business needs require
Desired Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain; degree in Supply Chain Management or APICS certification preferred
- Experience or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Performance Excellence (Green Belt preferred)
- Understanding of cable products, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to thrive in both autonomous and team-based environments

Pay: $20.00 - $22.07 per hour
