Job Overview:
One of our large, trusted clients is seeking a Credit Specialist to join their team!
Onsite: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries.
- Identify and assess potential bad debt and financial risk exposure.
- Reduce accounts receivable aging and delinquency
- Prepare weekly and/or monthly reports on account status and collections progress.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes
- Participate in special projects to support the Credit and Finance departments.
- Actively communicate via email, phone, and other communication channels to ensure the timely resolution of payment issues.
Education:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
Experience/Skills
- Proven experience in Collections
- Accounts Receivable
- Intermediate Excel
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to handle client interactions professionally.
- Ability to navigate challenges with clients while maintaining positive relationships.
- Highly professional, personable, and collaborative.
- Ability to work effectively in a corporate environment with a friendly & positive attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
