Machining & Manufacturing Technician Opportunities
We are hiring for multiple skilled manufacturing positions supporting high-volume production of precision components and automated processing systems. These roles offer hands-on technical work, consistent production support responsibilities, and opportunities for long-term growth within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Hiring for these shifts:
- Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1am
- 5am – 5pm rotating schedule
Summary
Technicians in these roles support daily manufacturing operations by operating, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment. Work involves producing precision parts, monitoring automated systems, ensuring material flow, performing inspections, and assisting with equipment upkeep and repairs. Successful candidates bring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery, including machining equipment and automated systems
- Perform machine set-ups, first-piece checks, tooling adjustments, and routine maintenance activities
- Load materials, maintain proper stock levels, and ensure continuous machine operation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools and documented quality methods
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as needed to support production operations
- Assist with equipment rebuilds, installations, and performance checks
- Complete accurate production records, shift documentation, and equipment logs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following established procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or certifications preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in machining, mechanical maintenance, production equipment operation, or similar hands-on manufacturing work
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret basic geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and perform basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with pneumatic or electrical systems is a plus
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
