Overview
This role focuses on supporting customers and field service technicians with CAD/CAM and offline programming software. You will help users understand software features, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to software testing and updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and support customers and internal service personnel on offline programming software
- Create and update machine posts for new equipment
- Provide technical support for software issues and troubleshooting
- Prepare software packages for customer orders
- Maintain and organize updated software versions on the network
- Test and debug new software releases
- Support testing for punching, laser, and press brake programming software
- Assist with other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming, or similar field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience with computer networking or programming software
- Experience with NC or CNC programming preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer service and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
- Experience with software installation, networking, and basic SQL
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable in both office and manufacturing environments
- Ability to travel occasionally for on-site training and support
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
