Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels, with a focus on consulting, case manager, principal roles, and independent advisors
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, industry-specific platforms, and professional associations
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and perform in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit, with a strong emphasis on consulting expertise
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings
- Utilize applicant internal tracking systems (ATS) to manage and track candidate information and recruitment metrics
Human Resources Management
- Oversee and manage all aspects of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the company’s growth and ensure compliance with legal requirements, specifically within the consulting industry
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company, with a focus on acclimating to consulting projects and client environments
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth, particularly in consulting methodologies and client management
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company’s culture and values
Strategic HR Planning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support the company’s growth objectives within the consulting sector
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving HR processes and practices
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in HR and recruitment, specifically within the consulting industry, to continuously improve the HR function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- At least 15-20 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on recruitment preferably within the consulting or professional services industry
- Experience in a high-growth company, preferably in the consulting or professional services industry
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, talent acquisition, and HR best practices tailored to the consulting sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, employees, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies within the consulting industry
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques and other assessment methods specific to consulting roles
- Familiarity with HR analytics and data-driven decision making
