Base Salary: $110,000 – $120,000
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function for a well-established electronics manufacturer serving highly regulated industries. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving quality systems, developing the quality team, supporting customers and suppliers, and ensuring compliance across the manufacturing operation.
The successful candidate will be a strong manufacturing quality leader with a practical understanding of how products are built and how quality integrates with production. While experience in electronics manufacturing is preferred, the hiring team is focused first on finding someone with proven manufacturing quality leadership, strong quality fundamentals, and the ability to build credibility on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Department, including Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, and applicable customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, suppliers, and internal leadership.
- Lead internal and external audits, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
- Develop quality metrics and use data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support new product introductions and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to resolve quality concerns while maintaining clear ownership of the quality function.
- Mentor and develop the quality team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Manufacturing Quality leadership experience.
- Experience leading Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO-based quality systems and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience leading customer quality, supplier quality, audits, and corrective actions.
- Proven leadership experience managing quality personnel.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or EMS experience.
- Experience with AS9100 and/or IATF 16949.
- Engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing quality experience.
- Experience supporting highly regulated manufacturing environments.
