Manages all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, including selection of qualified drivers, routing, driving, safety, unloading, fleet maintenance, customer/driver relationships, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Operating Company (OpCo) compliance. Includes involvement with the driver selection and orientation process, handling employee relations issues, including disciplinary action, monitoring DOT and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance, managing Transportation Supervisors, and monitoring the routing process to ensure customer satisfaction. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the comp

• faction.Oversees day-to-day administration of the delivery function, including managing, monitoring, and approving department expenses, calculating driver payroll, reviewing driver trip and expense reports, and identifying and resolving problems. Operates a computer keyboard to enter and access data in automated fleet management systems (e.g., Tripmaster and Xata); ensures the truck computer system is monitored and mai
