Position Summary
The Community Resource Assistant supports AllThrive 365’s community service programs to attain contractual program objectives and goals by providing direct assistance and case management services to vulnerable populations using resources from various funding. The Community Resource Assistant fosters self-sufficiency within the community by identifying resources for clients, assessing their needs, and connecting them to local support systems. This role is designed to bridge the gap between families and the resources they need to thrive, including education, healthcare, social services, and community programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about child welfare, support with community outreach, and experienced in working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

Program Support * Supports our programing to fill in gaps and cover for staff or volunteers including, but not limited to delivering meals, providing rides, working food bank, covering front desk. *Their duties may vary depending on the specific program, but common responsibilities include:

Requirements
Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in early child development or education preferred
- Knowledge of resources available in the community preferred
- Possess valid AZ DL and acceptable MVR
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Clear fingerprint background screening through the Department of Public Safety and comprehensive background clearance
- Food Handler Card
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Skills
- Strong verbal, written, reading, and listening communication skills to include communicating clearly, effectively, tactfully, and patiently to a diverse population.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demeanor with the ability to build rapport and garner trust with others.
- Proficient in the use of a PC; in a Windows environment; in the use of the Internet; and in the use of MS Office Applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
