The Frozen Bean is expanding rapidly across retail, food-service, e-commerce, and global distribution. We are looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across multiple product lines—including Frozen Bean frappes & latte mixes, Harmony Matcha, and Sunkist Hydration Collagen.
This role focuses on identifying new revenue channels, building strategic partnerships, strengthening relationships with distributors and retailers, and driving sell-through across domestic and international accounts. You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, R&D, and Leadership to execute scalable programs that increase velocity, expand distribution, and support our ongoing product innovation pipeline.
This position requires someone proactive, organized, and entrepreneurial—someone who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment and can directly influence the company’s next stage of growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business & Channel Expansion
- Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across Retail (club, grocery, specialty), Food-Service, Amazon, B2B, and International markets (e.g., Asia, LATAM).
- Target and pitch new accounts: Costco, Sam’s Club, HEB, Sprouts, CVS, PriceSmart, distributors, and QSR/coffee chains.
- Expand the company’s footprint in wellness, hydration, supplement, and matcha categories.
Account & Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, distributors, brokers, and key decision makers.
- Manage and nurture existing accounts to grow sales, increase velocity, and expand SKU count.
- Support licensing partnerships (e.g., Sunkist, Smurfs, Hello Kitty) with sell-in programs and promotional planning.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute data-driven strategies to hit revenue targets across all channels.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, margin analysis, and promotional planning.
- Assist with sell sheets, pitch decks, category reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to launch targeted campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and retailer support.
- Coordinate with Operations & Supply Chain to ensure accurate forecasting, production alignment, and on-time fulfillment.
- Provide insights to R&D for new product development based on retailer and market feedback.
CRM & Sales Operations
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market data to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven success in CPG, beverage, food, or supplement business development or sales.
- Strong understanding of retail, food-service, 3PL, and e-commerce distribution models.
- Skilled in negotiation, project management, and building multi-level stakeholder relationships.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot preferred).
- Ability to interpret market data, category trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
