Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of electrical distribution and construction-related projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers, vendors, customers, contractors, and internal teams to help ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer specifications.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with daily coordination of electrical supply and construction projects
- Prepare and manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
- Track project timelines, material deliveries, and order statuses
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, contractors, and internal warehouse/logistics teams
- Monitor inventory and assist with procurement of materials as needed
- Maintain accurate project records and update project management systems
- Communicate with customers regarding schedules, product availability, and project updates
- Support job cost tracking and assist with billing and invoicing processes
- Help resolve project issues, shortages, and delivery discrepancies on time
- Attend project meetings and provide administrative and operational support
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in construction, electrical distribution, operations, or project coordination
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, construction support, electrical distribution, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
