What you can expect as a Project Manager I:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Assist in developing project charters, plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Track project progress, deliverables, and milestones against defined timelines.
- Track progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure project objectives are met according to established quality standards.
- Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a central point of contact for project communication and updates.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, including kick-offs, stand-ups, and status reviews.
- Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups to ensure accountability.
- Support stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identification and management of risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Monitor ongoing project challenges and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support the tracking and resolution of project issues in a timely manner.
Budget & Resource Management
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Support procurement processes and vendor coordination as needed.
- Ensure accurate tracking of project hours and resource utilization.
Reporting & Documentation
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for leadership.
- Track key performance metrics and project milestones.
- Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-project reviews.
- Support process improvement and contribute to PMO templates and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
What we are looking for as a Project Manager I:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working within a PMO or technology environment.
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related roles.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies preferred.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, or Asana).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of project lifecycle and delivery frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
