What you can expect as a Claims Trainer:
- Exemplify professional and ethical behavior.
- Partner with Quality Assurance and claims personnel to identify training needs and recommend solutions for greater efficiency and improved claim handling.
- Create, develop, and deliver effective training utilizing various written and verbal methods and materials including but not limited to presentations, video job aids, PowerPoints, Workflows, coaching, mentoring and other educational materials.
- Assist in maintaining and updating training materials to accurately reflect current/relevant practices and regulations.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training on claims processes, systems, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and other topics.
- Provide feedback on curriculum and learner engagement/comprehension to promote consistency of claim handling.
- Maintain up to date knowledge and compliance with Company procedures, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Deliver high level customer service for our internal and external partners.
- Overnight travel and/or extended work hours beyond regular business hours may be required, including weekends, holidays, during a catastrophe response and/or as needed.
What we are looking for as a Claims Trainer:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of experience in property and casualty claims
- Claims Trainer experience is preferred
- Field claim handling experience is preferred
