Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed Dentist (DDS/DMD) in the Pocatello, ID area for a flexible, part-time opportunity conducting disability-related dental examinations.

This is an excellent opportunity for dentists looking to supplement their current income while maintaining their existing practice and schedule. With approximately 5–10 examinations per week, this position offers a manageable workload without the responsibilities of traditional patient care.

This is an evaluation-only position — no treatment, prescribing, follow-up appointments, or ongoing patient management required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, objective dental examinations for disability evaluation purposes.
• Review relevant dental records, medical histories, and supporting documentation.
• Assess and document dental conditions and examination findings.
• Complete required disability examination questionnaires and medical opinions when requested.
• Submit accurate, thorough examination reports within established timelines.
• Maintain compliance with applicable examination protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Active, unrestricted dental license in good standing.
• Must own or have access to an appropriate dental office within 75 miles of Pocatello, ID.
• Must reside within 75 miles of Pocatello, ID.
• Ability to conduct in-person examinations at the designated office.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete reports promptly.

Preferred:

• Previous experience conducting disability examinations, independent medical examinations (IMEs), or similar evaluations.
• Familiarity with disability examination documentation and reporting requirements.
