Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented team Leader for Cheese Packaging to oversee and coordinate our cheese packaging operations. Forklift experience is highly desirable. English speaking is required. Bilingual is desirable. Must possess strong leadership skills. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold safety standards, and ensure that all packaging processes meet regulatory and quality standards.
Duties
- Lead the cheese packaging team to meet daily production goals while maintaining strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce sanitation procedures to uphold cleanliness in the production environment, preventing contamination and ensuring product integrity.
- Manage inventory levels of packaging materials, coordinate procurement needs, and oversee proper storage practices.
- Train team members on safety standards in production, proper handling of food products, sanitation procedures, and GMP compliance.
- Relief forklift and other duties as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience managing production or assembly teams in a food production environment is desired but not required. We will train.
- Ability to apply basic math skills for inventory calculations, measurements, and process adjustments.
