From The Heart Home Care is urgently hiring a compassionate and energetic caregiver for a child client in Lexington, SC.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, encouraging learning through play, and creating a fun, engaging environment.
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
➡ 10 hours per week
Client Needs & Requirements
- Provide supervision and companionship in a home setting
- Engage in age-appropriate activities, including dancing, puzzles, hide-and-seek, games, and imaginative play
- Encourage learning and developmental growth through interactive play
- Assist with daily routines as needed
- Support speech and occupational therapy goals during everyday activities
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children REQUIRED
- Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities preferred
- Must be dependable and reliable (attendance is critical)
- Energetic, patient, and engaging personality
- Must enjoy interactive play and child-focused activities
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED – Uber/Lyft and ride-share services are not accepted for this position)
- MUST BE A SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
- Ability to pass a background check
