From The Heart Home Care – Charleston Office is urgently hiring a dependable, caring, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a client assignment in Moncks Corner, SC.
We are looking for someone who is serious about working, has reliable transportation, and understands the importance of providing consistent, quality care.
This client needs to be staffed ASAP. Reliability and consistent attendance are extremely important for this assignment.
Schedule
- Part-Time Client Assignment
- Specific days and shift times discussed during the interview process
- Immediate start needed
- Opportunity to pick up additional hours when available
Client Care & Responsibilities
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Toileting and incontinence care as needed
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and one-on-one support
- Mobility and safety assistance
- Assistance with established daily routines
- Following the client's individual plan of care
- Completing required visit documentation
What We're Looking For
- Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
- Dependability and consistent attendance are REQUIRED
- Caring, compassionate, patient, and professional
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Able to consistently commit to an agreed-upon schedule
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
- Must be able to reliably commute to Moncks Corner, SC
- MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
- Ability to pass required background screening
