From The Heart Home Care – Charleston Office is urgently hiring a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a pediatric client assignment in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

We are specifically seeking someone with a mature, patient, nurturing personality who genuinely enjoys working with children and understands the importance of providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment.

This position is ideal for an experienced caregiver who enjoys working with children and is looking for a consistent part-time assignment.

THIS CLIENT NEEDS TO BE STAFFED ASAP! We need someone who is reliable, compassionate, and ready to start immediately.

Schedule

• Part-Time Client Assignment
• Specific days and shift times discussed during the interview process
• Consistent client assignment
• Immediate start needed
• Opportunities for additional hours when available

Client Care & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, attentive, one-on-one care
• Assist with age-appropriate activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support established daily routines
• Provide companionship and positive engagement
• Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Encourage independence and age-appropriate activities
• Follow the client's individual plan of care
• Complete required visit documentation
• Communicate concerns or changes to the office

What We're Looking For

• Mature, patient, nurturing, and dependable personality
• Must genuinely enjoy working with children
• Previous experience working with children strongly preferred
• Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
• Comfortable providing one-on-one care to a pediatric client
• DEPENDABILITY AND CONSISTENT ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED
• Caring, compassionate, attentive, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Able to commit to an agreed-upon part-time schedule
• Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
• Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
• Must be able to reliably commute to Mt. Pleasant, SC
• MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
• Ability to pass required background screening
