FLOAT CAREGIVERS / PCAs NEEDED ASAP – SPARTANBURG, SC
MULTIPLE CLIENTS & SCHEDULES FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY IMMEDIATE OPENINGS
From The Heart Home Care is looking for dependable, experienced Float Caregivers/PCAs to support our clients throughout Spartanburg and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for caregivers who enjoy working with different clients, want opportunities to pick up additional hours, and have flexibility in their schedules. Our float caregivers help cover call-outs, vacations, open shifts, new client starts, and emergency staffing needs.
You are not required to accept every shift offered. However, once you accept a shift or client assignment, we expect you to show up on time and complete the commitment you made. Reliability is extremely important for our float team.
Float Caregiver Opportunities May Include
- Last-minute call-out coverage

Client Care & Responsibilities
Because float caregivers work with different clients, care needs will vary by assignment. Responsibilities may include:
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Personal hygiene assistance
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and one-on-one support
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Fall prevention and safety support
- Assistance with established daily routines
- Transportation and errands when required by the individual assignment
- Following each client's individual plan of care
- Completing required visit documentation
- Communicating client concerns or changes to the office
What We're Looking For
- Professional caregiving/PCA experience preferred
- Comfortable working with different clients and different levels of care
- Dependability and reliable attendance are REQUIRED
- Flexible availability strongly preferred
- Willing to consider fill-in and short-notice opportunities
- Caring, compassionate, patient, and professional
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other rideshare services do not qualify
- Willing and able to travel throughout Spartanburg and surrounding service areas
- MUST BE A CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
- Ability to pass required background screening
