Job Summary:
This position offers an educational opportunity to expose an Intern to working in Sterile Processing. This individual, under supervision of the Sterile Processing Manager will be responsible for tasks relating to decontamination, processing and sterilization. Other duties as assigned. This internship opportunity is a six week or 250-hour internship to be completed between June 2026 and September 2026.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Enrollment in High School as a rising Junior or Senior required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills necessary to interact with visitors and hospital staff as necessary are required.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: None. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience in the use of computer programs including Word, spreadsheets, HR information systems, e-mail the internet is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Enrollment in High School required. EDUCATION PREFERRED: Students from high school programs that Froedtert Health has established partnerships with (such as Carmen, Cristo Rey, NAF schools) highly preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: None. TRAINING PREFERRED: None. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills necessary to interact with visitors and hospital staff as necessary are required. SPECIAL SKILLS PREFERRED: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: None. LICENSURE PREFERRED: None.
