Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems; read and apply electrical schematics.
- Use electrical test equipment: volt-ohm meter, amp meter, and oscilloscope.
- Install, service, and diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and centrifugal/positive displacement pumps.
- Address faults on 480V, 3-phase motors and related power/control components.
- Apply strong PLC troubleshooting skills within preventative maintenance and work order systems.
- Operate lathes and mills; perform arc and Heliarc® welding for repairs and fabrication.
- Respond to maintenance calls, including taking over in-progress work to drive swift resolution.
- Inspect equipment, create prioritized repair plans, and ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability.
- Support and mentor entry-level mechanics on complex repairs.

What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable with high-voltage systems and multi-craft diagnostics.
- Service-minded approach when partnering with operators and teammates.
- Flexibility to shift priorities and stay composed under pressure.
- Self-directed ownership of quality, speed, and preventative work.
- Rigorous commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Electrical certification, technical school training, welding experience, or manufacturing maintenance background preferred.
- Managers often prefer 2 years of training/experience in mechanical/electrical repair within manufacturing.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years old.
- Available for weekends and holidays.
- Lift 15–50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Stand and walk for long periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Work amid extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
