Tool Shop Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepares tool equipment and raw materials while adhering to safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements
• Sharpens tooling equipment
• Processes raw material for Tool Makers
• Operates the heat treat oven
• Supports lean manufacturing through 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
• High level of commitment and flexibility
• Willingness and ability to work shifts
• Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
