Shipping Clerk 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Shipping & LogisticsPrepare, package, and process outgoing shipments
• Ensure all items are labeled correctly and compliant with company and carrier requirements
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to support timely deliveries
• Documentation & Data EntryMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date shipping records
• (packing lists, bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.)
• Enter data into our warehouse management and tracking systems
• Use Excel and Outlook daily for logs, communication, and scheduling tasks
• Cross-Team CoordinationWork closely with Operations, carriers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues
• Communicate shipment status, delays, or documentation needs
• Assist with scheduling pickups and managing shipping timelines
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or related fields (preferred)
• Strong data entry abilities and familiarity with Excel and Outlook
• Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory practices, and warehouse operations
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
