The Console Rigging Technician plays a key role in bringing our vessels to life by installing, setting up, and dialing in rigging equipment and helm/control consoles. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on wiring, system integration, and troubleshooting to ensure every boat meets our standards for quality, performance, and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Install and set up control consoles, including wiring, network connections, and hardware
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to console rigging, electrical systems, and controls
• Assemble and install power and control systems using pneumatic, electric, and hand tools
• Cut, strip, splice, terminate, and route wiring and cable systems
• Perform testing and calibration to ensure systems are fully operational and meet specifications
• Set up, adjust, and change over console equipment based on production needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with SOPs and plant safety rules
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure proper setup and functionality
What We’re Looking For
• Experience with console setup, rigging, or similar technical environments preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using tools and working with electrical/control systems
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team
• Able to stay organized and perform in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• This role involves working at heights on platforms, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs, and frequent climbing, bending, squatting, and overhead work
• You should be comfortable navigating stairs and being on your feet for most of a shift
• The work environment includes exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
