Description
At Freeman Boatworks, we build high-performance, premium catamaran fishing boats and take pride in the craftsmanship behind every build. We’re looking for a Lamination Technician to join our team and support the composite manufacturing process from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
- Trim, assemble, and finish composite components
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Document work per company guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Take direction from team leads and support overall production goals
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet deadlines and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Dependable, on-time, and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for 8 hours per day
- Frequent bending, lifting, and twisting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to a non-climate-controlled environment
