Description
Freeman Boatworks is hiring an Infusion Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the resin infusion process used to build our high-performance composite boats. Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply dry bulk fiberglass for hulls, decks, and cores
- Install vacuum and feed lines as well as bagging materials
- Assist with the vacuum infusion process, debagging, and prepping for secondary bonding
- Pull parts from molds and inspect prior to quality control
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Occasionally required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, or crawl
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent use of hands and fingers with tools and materials
- May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals in a manufacturing environment
