What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Associate position at Frederick Fox?
We’re supporting a local accounting firm with an immediate need for tax season help. This is a contract role designed for someone who can step in quickly and contribute right away.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing individual and business tax returns (1040s, 1065s, 1120s)
- Working directly with the firm owner
- Using Lacerte daily (recent experience required)
- Supporting peak tax-season workload
What we’re looking for
- 3 years of tax preparation experience
- Recent, hands-on Lacerte experience (required)
- Public accounting background preferred
- Able to start onsite initially (hybrid once up to speed)
- Comfortable with a contract / tax-season role
Details
- Pay: $45-55/hour
- Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
- Schedule: Hybrid (onsite at start)
- Duration: Tax season / short-term contract
